The results are in for the inaugural Sarah & Katy Essay Contests.
Third-grade students were given a story prompt based on” Sarah & Katy and the Imagination Blankets”: Imagine you received a blanket for Christmas. What would you imagine the blanket to be? Write a story about the adventure you have by imagining your blanket is something else.
Fourth-grade students were given a story prompt based on “Sarah & Katy and the Book of Blank”: Imagine you draw a picture on a blank sheet of paper and it comes to life. Write a story about what you draw and what happens after it comes to life.
