The Snow Blanket, by Allison Smith

Once there was two kids. For their birthday they got blankets. At first they thought it was weird because they got white blankets, but one of the kids, Michael, said, “Look on the bright side, you could make it a snow blanket, Allison.”

And it was a snow blanket. Soon they found white towels and they had snowballs! They made snow angels in the snow blanket, too. Until Michael and Allison’s mom came in the room. She said, “What are you doing?”

“Having fun with our blankets. We had snow angels, snow balls, it was amazing,” they said.

“Okay, go to bed you two.”

“Okay,” Allison and Michael said.

“Good night,” they all said.

And that’s the story of the snow blanket.

The End
